Recently, the United Parcel Service (UPS) has announced that they will be giving $2.6 million in grants to environmental organizations around the world. They have a "15 million trees by 2020" goal for urban and rural areas. They developed this goal a few years ago when environmental concerns began to ramp up. So far, they have planted over 12.5 million and don't plan on stopping soon. They've positively influenced 56 countries through their program and hope to increase that with the rest of their trees they plan to plant.

It is amazing to see a large corporation like this to care so much for the environment. When people think of sustainability, their thoughts usually end up going to the price and that it's expensive. While it's not always the case, a program like this will obviously cost a pretty large amount of money. To see a company with such a large impact on the world turn it into a positive impact is a difficult thing to find nowadays.

UPS has donated their money to groups like: National Arbor Day Foundation, National Park Foundation, Student Conservation Association, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and many more.

I am excited to see where UPS goes and how far they'll take this. I hope to stay updated on the story and I will write an update when I find out!
